Welder- Enbridge Employee Services, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing, is currently seeking a self-motivated, responsible person to fill a Welder position in our Griffith, IN Pipe Line Maintenance/Emergency Response crew. Welders are required to weld on all Enbridge high & low pressure piping in addition to performing other duties performed by this crew. Additionally, candidates shall be qualified to API 1104 20th Addition, 6.3 Multiple Qualification, Appendix B- In Service Welding standards. A minimum of (1) year experience in pipeline maintenance operating procedures is preferred. Candidates shall meet the following criteria prior to being considered for employment: " Successfully pass Enbridge's pre-employment testing. " Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driving License (CDL) at the time of employment and possess a good driving record. " Perform all of the required Enbridge Welder qualification tests successfully both visually and non-destructively. " Pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam. " Be able to perform physically demanding work inside and outdoors year round. " Live within 25 miles of the work location. Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overtime, weekend and some out of town work is often required. Pay starts at $29.52/hour plus excellent benefits, with opportunity for advancement.
